From Radio 180 to app: STRILAB project digitalises indirect fire

Within the Life Guards Brigade's war incubator STRILAB, Albert Oscarsson and Lukas Nilsson have built ELD, an ATAK plugin that digitalises requests for indirect fire and replaces verbal order-giving via Radio 180. The project, built from the bottom up by the users themselves, has already been tested by mortar platoons and shows how soldiers can solve several of the Swedish Armed Forces' technical problems on their own.
