REMO of at least 800 tracked vehicles
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration has signed an agreement with Nordic Terrain Solutions to renovate and modify over 800 tracked vehicles. The project aims to extend the vehicles' lifespan by 15 years and convert them to diesel fuel.

Nordic Terrain Solutions AB is jointly owned by the companies Svekon, Granit Teknikbyrå, Huddig, Staffare, and Swedish Power Improvement (SPI).
– The REMO project on the tracked vehicles is something the Swedish Armed Forces are in great need of and has been long-awaited. It feels good to make a difference and contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense capability, says Albin Karlsson, system engineer at FMV in the agency's press release.
The contract involves a life extension through the replacement of the engine and transmission for 800 tracked vehicles, with the possibility of an additional up to 250 units. Furthermore, the implementation also includes tools and spare parts, training of drivers and technicians, as well as updating existing documentation, writes Svekon.

The agreement also marks an important step in our growth and development, says Martin Frisk, Deputy CEO of Svekon in the company's press release.
Svekon writes that the NTS project team consists of experts from each company collaborating to ensure a delivery that meets the customer's requirements. Within the corporate group, all the skills and capabilities required to undertake such a commitment are present.
