Kesla Oyj has received an order worth approximately 17 million euros from a NATO member state. The order concerns the Kerberos multipurpose concept, but details such as the purchasing country, number of units, and intended use are being kept confidential at the customer's request.

– Defence industry projects have long time horizons and the processes take time. The projects require long-term development and close cooperation between authorities and industry partners. Finnish defence expertise and technology, proven under demanding field conditions, generates great interest and strong confidence worldwide, says Pasi Nieminen, CEO of Kesla Oyj, in a press release.

Deliveries are expected to begin in early summer 2026 and continue through to spring 2027. Approximately 7 million euros of the order value is expected to be recognised in 2026. The deal also includes maintenance, spare parts, and training.

The Kerberos system has been developed for military engineering operations in both urban environments and open terrain. Combined with a tractor, the system can be used for logistics and mobility in difficult terrain, as well as for tasks such as minelaying.
