The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has signed a framework agreement with Westbay Solutions for fitting out mobile shelters. The agreement is worth SEK 300 million, with an option for a further SEK 150 million.
It is the largest agreement in Westbay Solutions' history by value, according to CEO Fredrik Hedberg. A framework agreement sets terms for future orders. It is not an order in itself.
The agreement was signed during an FMV visit to the company in Västervik. Director General Mikael Granholm and Deputy Director General Eva Hagwall led the delegation. Jennifer Skjäl Lundgren, head of FMV's Logistics business area, signed for FMV.
Westbay Solutions already holds the framework agreement for Bascontainer 91.
— For us, the new agreement is a logical and important continuation of that, says Hedberg.
The new agreement covers mobile function spaces for the Swedish Armed Forces and will be carried out in Västervik, according to Västervik Municipality on LinkedIn.
