W5 Solutions' recently acquired company, Box Modul, has received an order worth 10 million Swedish kronor from a NATO customer. The order concerns mobile, modular shelter solutions made of armoured steel. The delivery is customised according to the customer's specifications and is expected to be delivered to the customer next quarter, W5 stated in a press release.
– The order is a milestone in our efforts to develop mobile protection solutions. By manufacturing robust shelters with additional protection, our team has demonstrated the strategic value of the product. This strengthens our position in the market, says Peter Nordlund, CEO of Box Modul in the press release.
W5 acquired Box Modul in September, which Defence Sector News previously reported on. Box Modul designs, produces, and sells protection, known as shelters, to companies and organisations in sectors such as defence, IT & telecom, healthcare, and energy.
– The deal emphasises our shared ambition for growth and clearly demonstrates the synergies that have emerged at a strategic level between our companies. Box Modul's expertise in mobile protection solutions is a critical piece of the puzzle and illustrates a successful collaboration within our corporate group. We are very proud of the team and look forward to the impact their products will have on the defence sector, says Daniel Hopstadius, CEO of W5 Solutions.
