W5 Solutions, based in Älmhult (southern Sweden), announces that they have signed an agreement with the German defence company Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW). The agreement includes service and support services for the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten) and is an extension of an existing contract. The total order value, including call-off operations, amounts to approximately 15 million SEK.

W5 Solutions will provide a comprehensive service and maintenance contract to ensure the long-term operation of tank simulators and emergency evacuation trainers currently used within the Swedish Armed Forces.

"We have a long-standing collaboration with KMW, and together we meet the end customers' needs for high-quality services and products," says Johan Schmitz, W5 Solutions' sales manager for the simulation business area.

"As a system supplier, W5 delivers products and services that cover the entire lifecycle of systems, from development and production to service and maintenance. This contract, which includes service and maintenance, is an example of how we support our customers throughout the long lifecycle of the products," concludes Johan Schmitz.
