Saab has placed an order for generators from the defense company W5 Solutions. The order includes the development and manufacturing of generators intended for vehicle mounting. The order is valued at 15 million and will be delivered during 2023-2024, according to a press release from the company on June 3.

- Thanks to our flexible and agile working methods, we can quickly adapt to meet our customers' needs regarding technical performance and delivery time. W5 is a well-established supplier to Saab, and with this order, we take yet another important step forward and further strengthen our collaboration. These generators with a capacity of 14 kVA are the result of our continuous effort to deliver innovative and reliable solutions in the power supply field, says Johan Schmitz, Sales Manager at W5 Solutions in the company's communication.

- At the start of the project, we quickly realized that W5 Solutions would be a good partner for the development of the generator according to our specifications. Saab has many years of experience working with W5 Solutions with good results in execution and quality, says Per-Olof Färnström, Strategic Procurement Project Manager at Saab in the same press release.
