Saab and the U.S. Department of Defense expand an existing framework agreement regarding the AT4 anti-tank weapon and ammunition for the Carl-Gustaf recoilless rifle. Saab has also received an order worth approximately one billion SEK with deliveries from 2024-2026, according to a press release from the company.

The expanded framework agreement, originally signed in 2019, allows the U.S. Armed Forces to place orders valued at an additional 422 million USD. The order includes the AT4CS RS anti-tank weapon and the new programmable high-explosive round for the Carl-Gustaf, HE 448, the company states.

- We are proud that our support weapons make a difference for our customers. The expanded framework agreement strengthens our good relationship with the U.S. Armed Forces and means they can continue to use AT4 and Carl-Gustaf for many years to come, says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab's business area Dynamics, in the press release.
