The Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten) will be the largest exhibitor at the National Defence Expo (Totalförsvarsmässan), to be held at Stockholmsmässan (Stockholm, Sweden) on 20–22 October 2026. The organiser also reports that the exhibition continues to grow in both scope and interest.
– The National Defence Expo is an important platform for meeting other actors within total defence and strengthening cooperation between different parts of society, says Major General Mattias Hanson, Head of the Swedish Armed Forces' Cyber Unit within the Defence Staff.
During the exhibition, the Swedish Armed Forces will present aspects of their operations and participate in seminars and programme items focusing on Sweden's total defence and cooperation between civilian and military actors.
According to the organiser, demand for exhibition space has increased as more actors within total defence and security have joined the event.
– We are very pleased that the Swedish Armed Forces have chosen to participate as the largest exhibitor at the National Defence Expo. Their presence helps to further raise the relevance and quality of the exhibition, says Monika Johannesen Widholm, Head of Event Unit Resilience & Mobility at Stockholmsmässan.
The National Defence Expo is held in parallel with SKYDD 2026 and is aimed at government agencies, decision-makers, companies, and organisations within security and total defence.
