Today, HM King Carl XVI Gustaf visited NATO's headquarters in Brussels. During the visit, he was received by Secretary General Mark Rutte. According to a press release from NATO, discussions included Sweden's role as a new ally within NATO, support for Ukraine, and contributions to the alliance's collective security.

– Sweden is a strong contributor to our collective security – not only by strengthening our defence but also through significant support to Ukraine, wrote the Secretary General on X/Twitter after the meeting (@SecGenNATO).

Later in the week, the King and HRH Crown Princess Victoria will visit the Life Guards in Kungsängen (Sweden).
