The King Granted an Audience to Commander Magnus Lüning
Commander Magnus Lüning, head of the Central Military Region, was granted an audience by the King on 10 April to receive the commandant's staff, writes the Royal Court in a press release and the Central Military Region in a post on Facebook.

As the head of the Central Military Region, Magnus Lüning is also the commandant in Stockholm, as he is the territorial chief over the area. This means that he sometimes participates in ceremonies and also replaces the senior commandant, Lieutenant General Michael Claesson, when needed, during events such as parades and receptions.

– It is an extremely honourable task to participate in the state ceremonial activities, says Commander Magnus Lüning, head of the Central Military Region, in a post on the military region's page on Facebook post.

During the audience, the King presented the commandant's staff to Magnus Lüning, which is the symbol of the commandantship. The staff has silver rings that mark commandants from 1938 to the present day.
