On 21 December, the Defence Commission held its first constitutive meeting. This is stated by the government on its website. Chairman Hans Wallmark and principal secretary Tommy Åkesson outlined the Defence Commission's directives, working methods, and the overall schedule for the spring's work. The Defence Commission is to deliver an initial report on 2 June 2023.
