Today, the Conscription Council publishes its semi-annual report. The council has visited all organisational units that train conscripts and summarises its reflections and impressions from the visits in the report.

– Our semi-annual report reflects the enormous commitment and willingness of Sweden's conscripts to change and develop their basic training. It will require a lot of work, but that work we will do together, says Alice Nilsson, chairperson of the Conscription Council to Defence Sector News.

The Conscription Council writes that "the situation during the summer was to say the least strained". The report is primarily directed towards the Swedish Armed Forces, but serves as the basis for the points they present to politicians and other authorities within the defence sector and total defence.
