The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) has awarded contracts to Raytheon UK for GPS anti-jamming systems intended for Swedish military platforms. The agreements cover the company’s Landshield and Landshield Plus systems, designed to protect satellite navigation signals against electronic interference.

According to a press release from Raytheon UK, the systems are designed for integration across land, maritime and air platforms. They are intended to maintain reliable positioning, navigation and timing information in environments affected by electronic warfare.

Landshield Plus combines an antenna and anti-jamming processor in a single unit and can provide operators with real-time information about sources of interference.

"Electronic warfare threats are evolving, and forces across NATO need navigation systems they can depend on", says Alex Rose-Parfitt, Engineering Director at Raytheon UK, in the press release.

The systems are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom. Raytheon UK states that its anti-jamming technology is already used by allied armed forces across several operational domains.

The company has not disclosed the value of the Swedish contracts, the number of systems ordered or their delivery schedule.

In September 2025, Raytheon UK announced a separate contract with BAE Systems to supply Landshield Plus systems for the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle, developed by BAE Systems Hägglunds in Sweden. Deliveries under that agreement were scheduled between 2025 and 2029.
