Sweden and Denmark are making a joint donation of Tridon Mk2 anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine. The total value amounts to approximately 2.6 billion kronor, and deliveries are to be made within twelve months, as announced by Defence Ministers Pål Jonson and Troels Lund Poulsen, along with BAE Systems Bofors CEO Lena Gillström, during a press conference at the Navy Leaders defence conference in Gothenburg (western Sweden).

The anti-aircraft guns will be delivered together with Bofors programmable 3P ammunition, command systems, spare parts, and also radar from Saab. The system is designed to handle various types of aerial threats, including drones and cruise missiles. Denmark's contribution to the donation amounts to approximately 300 million kronor.

Defence Minister Pål Jonson stated during the press conference that deliveries of the systems will commence within a year. According to a press release from the Ministry of Defence, the arrangement is prepared so that more countries can quickly join the initiative and order additional Tridon systems for Ukraine.
