The Norwegian Air Force will host Arctic Fighter Meet 23 in August. The air forces of Sweden and Finland will participate in the exercise based at Ørland Air Base, Norway, from 21-25 August, according to a press release from the Finnish Air Force.

Ørland Air Base was one of the four air bases used during the Arctic Challenge Exercise 2023 earlier this year. The Arctic Fighter Meet is conducted annually, with hosting duties rotating between Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The exercise is part of the Nordic Defence Cooperation (NORDEFCO). Norway will participate with the F-35, Finland with the F/A-18 Hornet, and Sweden with the JAS 39 Gripen.
