Steen Defense has acquired Mikromekanik, based in Eskilstuna (central Sweden). According to Steen Defense, the acquisition will create better conditions for more rapidly converting innovations into finished products and meeting customer demand for more cohesive offerings.

The acquisition helps us secure production capacity going forward, while honouring and continuing to develop relationships with existing customers," says André Steen, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Steen Defense, in a press release.
Mikromekanik will, according to the company, continue to operate its business, now as part of the Steen Defense group. No financial details regarding the acquisition have been disclosed.
