Saab has received an order from the US Air Force for the Carl-Gustaf M4 system, marking the first time the Air Force has ordered this system. The order is valued at 7.8 million dollars, and deliveries are planned for 2026.

Saab has received an order from the U.S. Air Force for the Carl-Gustaf M4 system, with an order value of 7.8 million dollars. Deliveries are planned to take place in 2026, Saab states in a press release.

The Carl-Gustaf system has been in use in the U.S. since 1990 and has been a Program of Record for the U.S. Army since 2013. This is the first time the U.S. Air Force has ordered the Carl-Gustaf system, which has previously been used by other branches within the U.S. military, including the Army, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command.
