Saab states in a press release that they have received an order for the Carl-Gustaf recoilless rifle from NATO's procurement organization (NSPA). The order value is approximately 60 million EUR (700 million SEK) and the contract period is 2024-2027.

The order is placed on behalf of four NATO countries through a framework agreement between Saab and NSPA.

- We are proud to have continued trust from NSPA to deliver our well-proven, reliable, and effective Carl-Gustaf system, says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab's business area Dynamics, in the press release.

Saab's Carl-Gustaf is a portable weapon system fired from the shoulder and has a range of ammunition types, which means it can be used for many different types of missions. It has been delivered to more than 40 countries.
