Saab has received an order from Boeing regarding the manufacture of aft fuselages for the T-7A trainer aircraft. The order value for Saab is approximately 1 billion Swedish kronor, and the order was booked in December 2023. Saab will carry out the work at its manufacturing facility in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, Saab stated in a press release.

– We are building the most innovative advanced pilot training system available on the market, and I am confident that this programme will continue to deliver aircraft for many years to come. The order strengthens our partnership with Boeing and means that we are scaling up series production to meet the increasing demand we see in the market, says Lars Tossman, head of Saab's Aeronautics business area, in the press release.
