– I am proud to continue supporting our customer's capability with our world-leading airborne surveillance and command aircraft, the GlobalEye. The high delivery rate is made possible by the unique high-technology expertise we have within Saab, which means we have control over the entire process, from sensor development to integration, says Micael Johansson, Saab's President and CEO, in the press release.

By combining multiple sensors, the GlobalEye can provide surveillance and command capabilities across airspace, sea, and land, enabling early detection of threats and a comprehensive operational picture for the customer. The original contract was signed in 2015, and Saab received an order for an additional two aircraft in 2021, the company states.
