Saab has launched a new electronic warfare sensor, Sirius Compact L20C, designed to detect and track communication signals from sources such as drones. The new sensor was presented at an event in Nuremberg, Germany, and offers increased operational flexibility for tactical reconnaissance, according to a press release from the company.

– Our newest sensor, L20C, is a milestone in the development of the Sirius Compact family. With the sensor's high capacity to track hostile communication signals, our customers will always be able to maintain an advantage over the threats they face. Combined with the L20R sensor, the user is provided with critical information simultaneously, which delivers situational awareness of utmost importance on the battlefield today, says Carl-Johan Borgholm, head of Saab's business area Surveillance, in the press release.
