Kristian Tornivaara has assumed the position of CEO at Saab Finland Oy. He replaces Anders Gardberg, who steps down after nearly ten years in the role and will continue with the company as a Senior Advisor for a period to ensure a smooth transition, Saab states in a press release.

According to the press release, under Anders Gardberg's leadership since 2015, Saab Finland has evolved from a small marketing and sales company with three employees to a high-tech company with nearly 200 employees.

Kristian Tornivaara has a background in the marine industry and defense sector. He previously worked at DA-Group, where he was responsible for the Defence and Aerospace business unit. Tornivaara has also been an entrepreneur in global start-ups, including the defense company Surma.

– I am pleased to start with Saab Finland. Even though I already have a lot of experience, I still have a strong attitude and willingness to learn more, as well as to take on this very important role and further develop a successful expert organization, says Kristian Tornivaara in the press release.
