Promoteq, which has established itself as a significant supplier to the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, and the Police Authority, has experienced strong growth in recent years. Oscar Karlflo, with a background from K 3 in Karlsborg and FMV, as well as previous experience as a political advisor to Defense Minister Pål Jonson, will now lead the company's sales and marketing department. He will report directly to the company's CEO, Jonas Arbestål.
"After several years of strong growth and increased demand for our systems and services, we now see the need to adapt our organization to continue our development. We are pleased to welcome Oscar Karlflo in the role of business manager," comments Jonas Arbestål, CEO of Promoteq.
In recent years, Promoteq has secured major contracts, including deliveries of new service pistols to the police and the combat vest system to FMV/FM in collaboration with Snigel. The company has also expanded internationally with subsidiaries in the USA, Norway, and India. For 2023, Promoteq reported a turnover of just over 500 million SEK, with the goal of doubling this figure in the coming years.
"We are proud to be a wholly Swedish company, owned entirely by people who work in the company and driven by innovation and expertise. The recruitment of Oscar Karlflo is an important step to further strengthen our organization and continue delivering high quality on a larger scale," concludes Arbestål.
Oscar Karlflo will assume the position on October 1.
