In paid collaboration with Patria: Patria has now showcased its new tracked vehicle within the framework of the FAMOUS program at the defense exhibition DSEI in London. The vehicle, which receives the official name Trackx, is displayed at Patria's booth N9-220.
The vehicle is built to transport twelve soldiers with equipment and is optimized for use in environments ranging from dense forests to snow and marshland. The platform is modular and allows for adaptation to different operational roles.
– Patria Trackx is designed to meet the most demanding terrain conditions. It combines very high tactical and operational mobility with protection and future-proof technology, says Mats Warstedt, Vice President, Market Area Nordics, Patria.
Trackx is the result of several years of development work within the EU's defense fund (EDF) and the multinational program FAMOUS, where Patria is the industrial coordinator. The program aims to develop the next generation of ground systems with a particular focus on mobility, protection, and interoperability.
Trackx has been tested in various types of environments, and Patria states that the goal is for the vehicle to be ready for serial production by 2027. The vehicle is now displayed at DSEI in Patria's booth N9-220.
