Swedish company Ovzon is entering the German market through new partnerships with IABG Teleport and MBS. As a first step, the company's satellite communication platform will be tested by a German government customer.
According to a press release from Ovzon, the company has signed partnership agreements with the German firms IABG Teleport and MBS. As part of the collaboration, an initial order has been placed for an implementation with a German government customer. The customer is not named and no order value has been disclosed.
The trial covers Ovzon's integrated satellite communication solution, in which satellite capacity is combined with mobile satellite terminals and customer support. Ovzon states that the onboard processor on the Ovzon 3 satellite gives the customer control over the communication link.
"We are establishing relationships and a partner ecosystem that can support a broader market presence over time," says Ovzon's CEO Per Norén in the press release.
