Helen Widin most recently held the position of Procurement Director at the Swedish Maritime Administration and has previously been the Head of Procurement at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and the Head of Procurement at the Östergötland region. She also has a background in the IT consulting industry, where she has worked in various roles, ranging from developer to CEO.
"FMV has a mission of critical importance to society, which is becoming increasingly important given our global environment, and I am proud of the trust placed in me to contribute to the organization and its management. Personally, there will be some new challenges that I have not worked with before, such as external relations with NATO and the EU. I look forward to getting started and getting to know the employees and the organization," she says.
