Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian fighter aircraft participated in a joint air operation over Finland on 5 November. The exercise included F/A-18 Hornet from Finland, JAS 39 Gripen from Sweden, and F-35A Lightning II from Norway, according to the Finnish Air Force.

The operation was supported by an air refuelling aircraft, A330 MRTT, from NATO's Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF). Command and surveillance were managed by Finnish and Danish units at the 7th Main Command Centre at Karelia Air Command.

The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen NATO's collective defence and deterrence, as well as to demonstrate interoperability within the framework of the Nordic Airpower concept and the alliance's structures. According to the Finnish Air Force, Nordic command units regularly conduct joint exercises to enhance the capability for joint air operations management within NATO.
