NATO has commenced the military exercise Neptune Strike 24:2, in which several countries, including Sweden, are participating. Sweden contributes with air combat forces from the 172nd Fighter Squadron, which also provides host nation support to American F-18 aircraft. Among the units participating in the exercise in the North Sea are the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and the British HMS Prince of Wales.
