The total cost of the project is approximately 560 million SEK. The buildings will cover a total of 12,000 square meters. – This assignment is a good match with NCC's expertise in security-classified buildings. We have a good collaboration with BAE Systems Hägglunds and look forward to now realizing a project that NCC has been involved in for a long time. It paves the way for a successful collaboration with an important operation for Örnsköldsvik, says Niklas Sparw, Business Area Manager, NCC Building Sweden, in the press release.
In May, Hägglunds inaugurated its expansion and announced that the company will invest several billion in developing its facilities in Örnsköldsvik: a total of approximately 3 billion SEK in various projects.
Present at the inauguration were BAE Systems' global CEO Dr. Charles Woodburn and Chairwoman Cressida Hogg.
