NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg visits Sweden on 6-7 June. Later today, Stoltenberg will participate in the National Day celebrations at Skansen in Stockholm, and tomorrow he will visit the Stockholm Amphibious Regiment Amf 1, writes NATO and the Government Offices of Sweden in press releases.

Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Finland yesterday for discussions with President Alexander Stubb. Among other topics, they discussed the upcoming NATO summit in Washington, Ukraine, and security and defence policy issues. Today, the talks continued at the Finnish Defence Staff and the Presidential Office.

Later in the day, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M), NATO Secretary General, and the Royal Family will participate in the National Day celebrations at Skansen.

Tomorrow, 7 June, meetings and a demonstration of the Swedish Armed Forces' activities will be held at the Stockholm Amphibious Regiment, Amf 1. In connection with the visit, a press conference with the Prime Minister and Stoltenberg will take place. According to the Prime Minister's Office, a news announcement will be made during the press conference.
