BAE Systems has placed an order worth 15 million SEK with MilDef to deliver rugged computers to support maintenance systems for military aircraft. This is stated by MilDef in a press release.

MilDef will deliver 90 portable RB14 computers to BAE Systems Air operations by the end of 2022. The equipment will be used to support the maintenance of jet fleets for BAE Systems' global customers, providing airworthiness information to support teams that ensure aircraft availability.

- We are proud to deliver the latest technology to a world-leading partner in defence capability, BAE Systems. The delivery of rugged hardware for deployment within the aviation sector further strengthens our portfolio within the British defence market and builds on significant deliveries already made to the land and sea domains, says Björn Karlsson, CEO of MilDef Group.

A spokesperson for BAE Systems says:- The delivery of MilDef's equipment will enable our global customer base to ensure necessary airworthiness data about their fleet. This allows us to ensure that aircraft are available for our customers where and when they are needed to deliver critical national security.
