MilDef has won additional contracts from BAE Systems Bofors valued at 52 million SEK. The orders, which pertain to rugged IT equipment for the Archer artillery system, include displays, computers, and switches. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2025, MilDef states in a press release.

After MilDef entered into a ten-year framework agreement with BAE Systems Bofors in February, the collaboration now continues with additional orders. According to the press release, the volume order includes previously developed products and spare parts for existing systems.

– Our collaboration combines two Swedish defense companies that are specialists in their respective fields. MilDef is entrusted to contribute with our expertise; to deliver future-proof IT systems that enhance the protection of our society, and we are proud of the way we collaborate with BAE Systems in Karlskoga, says Daniel Ljunggren, CEO and Group President of MilDef Group, in a press release.
