MilDef has won its largest Estonian contract to date for the integration of their tactical IT hardware in a defense project concerning armored vehicles, valued at 53 million SEK. Over 400 units of their customized servers, switches, routers, and media converters will be delivered from 2024 to provide robust IT solutions in challenging environments, according to a press release from the company.

– Besides being the single largest order that has landed on the Estonian market so far, it is also a contract that materialized faster than we expected. The urgency meant that the vehicle manufacturer advanced their deliveries to the end customer, and consequently, MilDef's delivery is also advanced, says Daniel Ljunggren, CEO and Group President of MilDef Group in the press release.

In October 2023, Estonia ordered over 230 wheeled armored vehicles from the Turkish companies Nurol Makina and Otokar, with a total order value of approximately 200 million euros.
