Micropol states that they have been a supplier to FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces for many years. The new agreement will require the hiring of approximately ten new production employees at the production facility in Åled during 2023.
The Åled-based company AB Micropol Fiberoptic signs a framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration regarding tactical fiber optic systems. The agreement is signed for three years with an option for a total of seven years. The contract value is stated by Micropol to amount to a total of 178 million SEK.
