According to Micropol, the new facility is a prerequisite for continued expansion and increased production capacity beyond the current operations in Åled.
– The new facility will enable us to expand and diversify our operations, allowing us to broaden our current offering of tactical communication, says Peter Ljungkvist, CEO of Micropol Fiberoptic, in the press release.
The premises, which will cover approximately 4600 square meters, will include production areas, clean rooms, storage, offices, customer exhibition, and staff facilities. In addition to production and development, the new premises are also expected to provide increased opportunities for installation, repair, and renovation of customers' platforms.
