According to the Swedish Armed Forces, the education Together We Are Total Defense is being introduced into the high school social studies curriculum. The education is digital and interactive and can be completed individually in two hours or teacher-led in four hours.

It provides insight into how Sweden functions in crisis and war, and how the entire population has a role to play. The content includes, among other things, Sweden's total defense, international law, and the significance of foreign and security policy for interstate relations, including NATO's role.
