The ministers meet at the Southern Scanian Regiment P 7 in Revingehed, where they meet Swedish soldiers preparing to participate in NATO's multinational brigade in Latvia. The discussions between the ministers also include NATO-related issues, support for Ukraine, and defense equipment cooperation.
After the visit to the regiment, Andris Sprūds continues to Lund University to participate in a seminar on Baltic security issues. Before the visit to Sweden, Sprūds also had meetings with Finland's Defense Minister in Helsinki, writes Latvia's Ministry of Defense in a press release.
