Saab has signed a framework agreement with the Latvian Ministry of Defence and received an initial order for the short-range air defence system RBS 70 NG. The order includes firing units, missiles, and training systems valued at 2.1 billion SEK. Deliveries are planned to be carried out between 2026 and 2030, the company states in a press release.

– Saab continues to support the Latvian Armed Forces with ground-based air defence, and the deliveries will further enhance its crucial capability to detect and counter air threats, says Görgen Johansson, head of Saab's business area Dynamics.
