Knowit has been approved as a supplier within NATO's procurement framework. This means the company can participate in procurements from NATO and its member states.
In a press release from Knowit, it is stated that the approval applies to the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and has been awarded to the Finnish subsidiary Knowit Solutions Oy following a multi-year evaluation process. The agreement covers areas such as digital solutions, data management, and secure systems.
"This approval is a significant testament to the confidence placed in Knowit's expertise. Digital resilience is built on the ability to connect data and systems across organisational boundaries and ensure they function reliably even in disrupted situations," says Terhi Sirviö, Head of Public Sector Business at Knowit Finland, in the press release.
The Swedish subsidiaries Knowit Defence Technology and Knowit Dataunit are also reported to have previously received corresponding approvals.
"We focus on digital solutions that support society, public authorities, and secure data management," says Knowit Group Chief Executive Per Wallentin.
