Milso offers consulting services in technology, management, and IT, with clients such as the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and the defense industry. The acquisition strengthens Knowit's operations within the defense sector, where the company is already established.

Milso was founded in 2006 and has framework agreements in several areas, including Gripen, electronic warfare, and combat vehicles. The company has about 50 employees, many with backgrounds in the armed forces.
