The technology company Kebni AB has inaugurated a new production facility in Karlskoga, announced via a press release on June 26. The facility will enable increased production rates of sensors for Saab's NLAW, in response to increased demand for the anti-tank weapon.

Last year, the technology company Kebni announced that they are continuing their expansion with a new production facility adjacent to their office in Karlskoga. The facility will enable an increased production rate of sensors for the Robot 57, internationally known as NLAW, from Saab.

Saab has placed multi-million orders for sensors manufactured by Kebni both last year and earlier this year. Over the past year, the company has received orders for the anti-tank weapon from Sweden, Finland, and the United Kingdom.

Three weeks ago, the company held a topping-out ceremony and last week the facility was inaugurated together with representatives from Saab, FMV, and the British Ministry of Defence. In photos from the company's press release, Michael Höglund, head of Saab's Ground Combat business unit, is seen giving a speech to the visitors.

Saab is also expanding in Karlskoga. In an interview with P4 Värmland in December, Michael Höglund stated that they want to hire about one hundred people in Karlskoga. Anna Posth, head of business development at Karlskoga Municipality, stated in the same interview that they are planning for 1,300 new homes to support growth in the industry.
