The Swedish government wants to investigate the conditions for sending JAS 39 Gripen fighter aircraft to Ukraine, according to information reported by Sveriges Radio Ekot. The investigation will examine, among other things, how such a transfer would affect Sweden's defence capability, how quickly the aircraft could be replaced, and how pilot training would be conducted.

Earlier this morning, Saab announced that the company had entered into new and revised agreements with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The agreements concern, among other things, revised delivery schedules for both the Gripen E and the Gripen C/D, as Försvarssektorn Nyheter reported.

Yesterday, Ukraine's Ambassador to Brazil published a post stating that he had visited one of Brazil's JAS 39 Gripen E aircraft, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter.
