Knowit is carrying out a leadership change within its defence operations. Jaime Rico takes over as head of Knowit Defence from Andreas Nilsson, who will instead continue in his role as CEO of Knowit Dataunit.

According to the company, work in the defence and security sector in recent years has focused on structuring and clarifying its offering. This has involved a transition from a project-based operation to a more consolidated position as a strategic partner within the sector.

In his new role, Jaime Rico is tasked with further developing the company's commitment to defence and security, with a focus on strategic positioning, internal coordination within the group, and long-term growth.

Today, Knowit is one of the larger players in the defence sector in Sweden and holds a strong position as the largest independent company within Defence Tech, with established operations in six European countries. The group thanks Andreas Nilsson for the work that has laid the foundation for its current position and looks forward to the next phase of development with continued high ambitions, Knowit writes in a press release.

The company states that Andreas Nilsson is handing over responsibility after having led the build-up of the operations, and will continue in his role as CEO of Knowit Dataunit.
