The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (FMI) has signed a seven-year framework agreement with the Swedish company Hestra Gloves for the supply of gloves and winter gloves to the Danish defense. The agreement also includes special gloves, including for fast rope and flame-retardant gloves for the Danish navy, according to a press release from FMI.

The first deliveries of the gloves are expected to reach Danish soldiers in September 2025. According to FMI's expert Allan Sloth Nielsen, Hestra performed best in terms of functionality, comfort, and durability combined with price.

Hestra, which has previously supplied both the Swedish and Norwegian defense forces, expressed its pride in the agreement. "It is an honor for us at Hestra Gloves to support and protect Danish soldiers in their important missions," the company wrote in a post on LinkedIn.
