Nordic Defence Sector strengthens its strategic network by appointing Henrik Graff-Hedberg as a Senior Advisor to the company's Advisory Board. In his role, he will contribute to the company's long-term development through strategic advice, global perspective, and insights from a long career in the defence sector, politics, and communication.
– I see Nordic Defence Sector as an important player in a growing defence sector. The Nordic perspective is crucial, and there is a need for more forums to bring together those of us who operate in and are interested in the Nordic defence industry. Over the years, I have learned the importance of cooperation, timing, and clarity – and I hope to contribute just that, says Henrik Graff-Hedberg in a statement.
Henrik Graff-Hedberg is currently the Director of Communications and Head of Government Affairs at BAE Systems Bofors. He has previously been the Head of Press at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) and served on the agency's management team, worked as a senior consultant at a communications agency, and been a press secretary and political advisor at, among others, the Ministry of Defence. Today, he also holds several board positions, including at Alfred Nobels Björkborn and Medborgarskolan Stockholm. He holds a degree in Political Science from Uppsala University and a degree in Media and Communication Studies from Stockholm University.
– We are very pleased that Henrik wants to contribute to our continued development. His perspective is broad, independent, and at the same time deeply rooted in the conditions of the defence sector. For us, it is a valuable addition as we now take the next step in our growth journey, says Anton Thynell, founder and CEO of Nordic Defence Sector.
Henrik Graff-Hedberg becomes part of the company's Advisory Board, whose role is to, together with other future members, provide advice on strategic issues and contribute with global perspectives that strengthen the organisation's long-term direction.
