BAE Systems Hägglunds invests several billion in developing its facilities in Örnsköldsvik (northern Sweden). The company is investing a total of approximately 3 billion SEK in various projects: 600 million SEK on the test area in Nordanås, 1.1 billion SEK on new offices and facilities in Gullänget, and 1.4 billion SEK on investments in machinery for the production of the Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90).

The new 11,000 square metre hall in Gullänget is expected to be completed in about two years.

Also present at the inauguration was the executive management of BAE Systems: Group CEO Dr. Charles Woodburn, Chairwoman Cressida Hogg, and Jeremy Tondreault, Head of Platforms & Services at BAE Systems.

The executive management also visited BAE Systems Bofors, where they, among other things, got to see the Archer artillery system and the new Tridon air defence system that the company is developing.
