Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dennis Gyllensporre will become the chairman of NATO DIANA's board for 2025-2026, writes the Ministry of Defense on X (formerly Twitter).

– It is gratifying that Dennis Gyllensporre has been elected as chairman, he will do an outstanding job in developing and promoting defense innovation in NATO, says Minister of Defense Pål Jonson (M) in the post.

In 2014, Dennis Gyllensporre was promoted to lieutenant general and head of the Command Staff at the Headquarters. Thereafter, he was force commander for three years for the MINUSMA mission in Mali, which included over 13,000 personnel from 60 countries.

This summer, Dennis Gyllensporre received the Royal Order of the Sword, Commander Grand Cross, for exceptional leadership under war-like conditions in Mali.
