Fortifikationsverket has entered into an agreement to acquire seven properties from Specialfastigheter AB for 8.2 billion SEK. The properties cover a total of 180,000 square meters and include, among others, the Swedish Armed Forces headquarters, FMV's main office Tre Vapen, and FOI's office in Kista.

– The need for security properties is great. Through this sale, we have the opportunity to further develop and invest in our property portfolio, says Alexandra Laurén, CEO of Specialfastigheter.

The deal is conditional on government approval, and the transfer is planned for the fall of 2025.

– These properties have a natural place in our holdings. Through this acquisition, we gain even greater control over Sweden's defense properties, and it increases security for our partners, says Caroline Reuterskiöld Wall, acting Director General and Chief Legal Officer at Fortifikationsverket.
