Ellen Rova has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer for the Swedish Armed Forces after serving as the acting head of the Defense Staff's Finance and Operations Management Department for the past year. She takes over the role from Helena Thunander-Holmstedt, who is an advisor to the Chief of the Defense Staff, writes the Swedish Armed Forces on their website.

– I look forward to the continued development of the Swedish Armed Forces' management and organization to meet the global situation within the framework of integration within NATO. My job is to create conditions for the organization to fulfill its tasks in the best possible way, says Ellen Rova to the Swedish Armed Forces.

Ellen Rova has previously worked for ten years at the Swedish National Financial Management Authority with the government's management of the defense sector and most recently served as the acting head of the Defense Staff's Finance and Operations Management Department for the past year.
